94s were small ring threads just like the 96. Some other 98 style mausers will also take the small ring tenon like the turkish 98. So the answer is you need a small ring receiver, or a large ring receiver with small ring threads.
Yes I believe so.The sm ring 98 mausers make great mt rifles. BRNO 21 and Husky 1600 are both sm ring.Might want to keep the 94 as is as they are not too common .I know Trade-ex has some but when they are gone.
