Swede Rolling Block in 12.7x44R CF

People work with 50-70, but the dimensions at the head are different and sometimes the rim is too-large. You can also work with 348 Win which has the right rim but needs to be resized up top. But I would not regret buying the correct brass.

I had to cut down 50-70 brass a bit for my firearm. I only shoot smokeless in it - under the Lee 425 gr cast bullet:

13.0 grs Unique
27.0 grs SR4759
32.0 grs IMR4198

Mine gobbles up the 50-70 without any hiccups. However, it does prefer black powder instead of smokeless. I add 5 grains of HS6 over the CCI250 mag primer to get a cleaner/more consistent burn.

I haven't heard of any of them not accepting the 50-70 case.

if it accepts 50-70 brass with no modification to the chamber rim rebate or cutting the rims of your cases to a smaller dia, then probably someone did the rebate mods before you got it or it was one of the original 50-70 caliber chambered rifles sent to the laplander countries. I have never seen a 12.7 x 44 that would accept 50-70 without mods one way or the other.
