Having been enamored with mausers as of late, I grabbed the M94 carbine that was on the EE a bit earlier. .Sadly she has had her orginal stock sportered...looks like it will be a task to dig up an orginal..anyone have a source for parts for this old girl ?..I have thought of rebuilding her orginal stock, modifying an M96 stock-Tradex has lots*cheep*...she won't be orginal, but id like to get close...

You are going to have to spend time sourcing individual parts. I think the nose cap will be the most difficult. i believe other countries guns' could off up parts. i.e. Spain and a few others. Try Numrich, Sarco etc.

Been looking. ..a handguard is ok...the orginal stock is another matter..fleabay has one listed for $425...too bad the loonie sucks right now, exchange wise with the USD..

Ok..have the carbine...metal parts are coming. ..options right now are repair and rebuild the original stock, or use an M96 stock as a donor for a refitted job, or cut it and rebuild the orginal....what to do..what to do....

Maybe it is better to just buy a complete and all matching parts one if you want a collector piece, otherwise just use a M96 stock to make up a reasonable looking carbine as a shooter as these carbines are very difficult to find any original parts for and by the time you get all the parts together you could have just settled with a complete and all matching original one.

Yeah..I have seen very few of these around...This one is definitely worth desporterizing...the bore is almost perfect...Tradex has lots of cheap M96 stocks to use as donor wood...orginal stocks are expensive as hell @$600+...maybe something will turn up eventually. .
