Swedish Jarmann m1883 trials rifle 10.15mm & Schultz & Larsen Model 1942 RPLT rifle

I have knowledge of an extremely rare 1883 dated, Carl Gustafs made, all matching Swedish 3 band Jarmann M1883 trials rifle of 10.15mm caliber of which only 1000 were made.

It was for trial use as per page12 to 14 in the book, Crown Jewels - the Mauser in Sweden, but the Swedish Military did not follow up with any further orders.

This rifle may be coming onto the market soon, does anybody have any idea as to it's value in Canada? I am pretty sure it is the only one in Canada.

The rifle is complete except for missing the 2 front sling swivels and bayonet. it even has the cleaning rod. The condition is very good all over.

This rifle has a tube magazine and a very unique rear locking action that seems fully functional.

I can get photos next week if people are interested.

Also the same source has a very good condition Schultz & Larsen Model 1942 RPLT rifle that also may be offered for sale. What would be a good asking price for it as well?

And finally their may also be a very nice Swedish 6.5x55mm M94 Carbine.

mkrnel I know only the Scandinavian Prices or European one if they can help you. The Jarmann made by Carl Gustafs were 1500 not 1000 and they are not trial rifle but used by Norwegian Army and Swedish Troops: in Norway are more researched the Norwegian made ones ( prices around 3000€) and the Swedish around 2000/2000 € if complete.

The RLPT model 1942 is extremely interesting because is one of the exaples of rifles made during Nazi occupation of Danmark for the Danish Costal Police ( total made from 900 to 1100) price around 1000 to 1500€ for a mint one in Danmark. A original Swedish M/94 watch the USA prices is better.

RussiaBerdan, thank you for your input.

The Jarmann I am referring to is one of the second version (Model 1883) made at Carl Gustafs in Sweden. the first version (500 Made) was different in appearance from the second version, which was known as the 3 band model of which only 1000 were made by Carl Gustafs.

Trying to keep away from USA pricing as some rifles sell for way more here and others for way less.

Thanks again

PS Militaria has a Jarmann on their site, missing the cleaning rod and front sling swivels but they don't have a price for it.

I would probably pay big money for the M94. I could use one in my collection.

An interesting link and some pics: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/10.15×61mmR

I have an even more scarce Swedish Rolling Block Trials Rifle chambered in 10.15x61R Jarmann.

In the late 1870s, Sweden and Norway began trials to replace the aging M67 rolling block rifles in 12.7x42 rimfire. The same rolling block chambered in 10.15X61R Jarmann was among a number of rifle designs and cartridges tested. Norway went on to adopt the cartridge and the Jarmann bolt action rifle in 1884. Sweden decided to convert their black powder rolling blocks to fire 8x58R Danish Krag smokeless in 1889, creating the M67/89 rifle. They later went to the M94 Swedish Mauser Carbine, then the M96.
