I was just looking at the Hellqvist/Norma peep sights that I have and I realized there are some slight differences between the Norma and Hellqvist versions. The Hellqvist is the one with the slot for the screwdriver on top the peep. With the Norma you turn it by gripping the entire sight in a wrench or pliers (padded). Also, the windage adjustment locking screws are in different places (H., back right and N., back left.) and the Hellqvists have some lines inscribed on the base so that you can accurately repeat changes in windage. So the Norma is slightly simpler and therefore I assume it is the later version. (I could be wrong about that.) I have seen numerous Hellqvist marked versions but only two Norma marked versions.
There is also a small hole drilled and tapped right in the center-top of the clip loading hump on the rear receiver bridge. I have seen this before on some Swedes. It's much smaller than any hole drilled for scope ring bases. Does anyone know what it is intended for?
