I have not seen these traded for a long time, so give me opinions please on what is a realistic value on:

M96 full size rifle in 6.5 Swedish, good to very good, original condition. The brass arsenal disc is in the stock, a nice rifle. Thanks.

There's been some recent hype on YouTube that has sort of broadened the appeal, but I think around $5-$700 depending on year, wood type, sights and if it has a range plate, etc.

There has been a definite jump in pricing over the last year. You could get a nice example for $400 or so previously. Now its $700 and up. I'm thinking that may be a little dated and it could very well be $800 and up now.

Mind you, They were very under-rated rifles up until very recently.

I would start considering letting mine go for $1000.00 + with bayonet. I don't want to sell it.

Ummm, no one is asking you to sell it. I have a bayonet for one and have considered buying a rifle to go with it. As others have said, they seem to be priced at around $700ish at the moment.

Yep, $400 Swedish Mausers that haven't been sporterized are long gone...
