SWEET!!! Marston 3 barrel derringer (very rare gun)

[dingus]

Well lucked out and got a Marston 3 barrel derringer in 32 RF tonight.
Great start to 2011 for Dingus LOL
Theses are so rare and cool.
I will be keeping this one.
Nice and Flat so it could be slid into your pants or pocket.
has a Safety setting or 1 2 3,
Some were made with folding knife blades even.
thought it might be of intrest to some.

I like it the ingenuity to make different designs and I love the use of brass in these early pistols

thats the way they are made. lots of 32 rimfires are like that.

[oldiron]

Very nice new toy. I lost out on one at a U.S. auction last spring, should have kept going. They don't show up often.

[NWO]

did you get any history with it or do you know of the history of that gun?

No history. thats always hard unless a gun is engraved with someones name.
this ones been around no doubt being made 1864 to 1872 or so.
