Sweet Moses! Just joined the AR Club

Oh no. Yet another sad little man joins the AR club. I'm just yanking your chain. I think it looks great. Love the brake/compensator. Leupold Mark 4 CQ/T would look and work awesome on your rig.

Just one comment. Can all of on this site stop refering to our rifles as "her". I doubt members of the opposite ### would like this reference and there is no way in hell that any languages that use gender nouns would use the feminine form for an awesome looking rifle like the one you just put together.

Grammar NAZI on the prowl.....

Cheers

Its a tradition to call things of importance "her". Started off with Naval captains naming their ships with a woman's name, and remains (or remained?) that way until modern times with ships getting their own name.

Rifle's are most definitely one of the things that fall into the category for receiving names or being referred to as "Her".

:D

Suuuuuupoib!!! I dig the charging handle...I have the Ergo Grip on my 11.5....you will love IT. And my .02 for an optic is an Eotech 552...so quick on target, and you can keep spare batts in your Ergo! Enjoy!!

An Aimpoint would be good, I've also been looking at the Elcan Spectre DR (ridiculously priced but oh so pretty).

Very nice AR...

IMHO you are better off with an Aimpoint. The Elcan Spectre DR is a nice optic but it is quite expensive and very heavy. I have used one and although the magnification is nice, I think the weight would be more of a detriment seening as you have gone with a shorty AR. The options you have gone with (other than the PWS CQB <-- very cool and obviously originally made for SBRs) give the benefits of a light, maneuverable, compact unit. The DR would give you a big chunk of weight on top and may change your now well-balanced rifle. The aimpoints Comps and especially the micro T1 and H1 are small, very light and dependable. I think it would be a better match. But again just my opinion.

Buy an Aimpoint and you don't need spare batteries :p

LOL...I remember a buddy telling me the same thing...but what was it 50000 hrs vrs 8000...just liked the 552 better, and it worked fan-#@%&*%-tastic for the Carbine course I took! It was kinda funny when writing my post up, I was thinking "someone sure as hell will bring up the Aimpoint battery thang". Too funny!

Cheers.

Finally got around to putting on my Burris PEPR mount and Millet scope on the ol' AR. Now I have to take it to the range to co-witness it and it'll be right as rain.
