With all the posts about how much you would spend on a rim fire I thought I would post my newest acquisition. Just a few teaser photos, will post more when I have time, and some groups when I make it to the range/farm.

Some nice horizontal stripping in the wood.

So what do you think?

Very nice.
I put the same scope and rings on my Kimber SVT.
It works great. Good scope choice.

really good looking rifle. now you should buy a sauer 308 hunter target rifle....same nice wood...would make a real nice pair.

SWEEEEEET set-up! Wish I could afford a $2500+ rimfire! Are you a competitive shooter.....or just a collector of fine things? Cause that's one da*n fine gun you got there!

Don't worry about the price tag - I'm sure you'll get your money's worth of enjoyment out of that rig!

I guess a collector of fine things.

I come from a family with a competitive shooting background, I am pretty sure one of the first rifles I ever shot was a CIL310.

I would like to get into small bore, or some sort of competitive shooting but really have not heard about to much of that in the Edmonton area (aside from IPSC), and don't understand what I need to do to get involved yet.

I bought it as a rifle I will keep forever pass down to my kids etc.. (Not that we don't have a bunch of those in the family already) but this is my contribution so far.

Now if it would stop fing raining I would go shoot it! Ill get some pics with the scope and target turrets installed soon.

Might have to get a 1712 as well haha

Real fine looking rifle you just got there! Don`t think i would ever want to take that out in the bush though. I`d be way to worried about aqcuiring a scratch or ding, especially after spending $2500!

2500$ ?

Does it cook and clean as well? For that price, it damn well better! :D

Yes yes it does! :slap:

Trigger is amazing but have only dry fired it so far. Didn't have a chance to get to the range this weekend (rain and wifes sister came up from the states for a visit)

Hopefully this weekend I will :sniper:

Here are a few pics with the scope on with better lighting. Did not put the sunshade on or have time to get the target knobs on yet, but it looks pretty nice.

Only surprising/ kind of a let down that I had already read about before is that the bolt knob is some sort of plastic? Might have to change that out eventually.

I am awaiting the arrival of my new Cooper LVT. I am about 1/2 way through the required 9 month wait time. Not in the same league as the real BR's but other than building a custom it will have to do for off the shelf.
Shopping for a scope to put on it, torn between a Weaver T-36X and a Leupie 6.5-20X EFR.

We have concrete BR benches at the Brandon Wildlife Association range. We are in the middle of putting up two more buildings for indoor shooting and to stay out of the elements. Our club is 475 members strong and a first class outfit.
