Swift SC II , 25-06 , any users?

Last fall my daughter shot 2 mule deer with a 25 WSSM (same velocity as the 25-06) using the 100 grain Scirocco. The first was a buck of about 225 pounds and it was a broadside through and through taking out the top of the heart and the bottom lobes of the lungs.

The second was a mule deer doe taken at a hard raking angle. She put the bullet between the last 2 ribs and the bullet stopped under the hide on the opposite shoulder. Muzzle velocity was ~3300 fps and impact estimated at ~3150 fps.

The "lump" on the right shoulder is where the bullet stopped.

The recovered bullet weighed 79 1/2 grains almost exactly the 80% weight retention Swift claims for this bullet.

I Have not tried them in a 25 cal rifle of any kind, but I do shoot the 90 Scirocco II
out of my hunting 6mmBR.
It is a superlight hunting rifle that will send that 90 out at 3050, using Varget or RL15.
I shot a 3x3 muley last fall with it at a lasered 340 yards. Dead right where he stood.
Bullet destroyed the lungs and the top of the heart. bullet passed through. [exited]
I'm duly impressed with the performance of the Scirocco II [much better than first generation Scirocco]
I have some 210's loaded for my 338 to try this spring on Black Bear.
Regards, Eagleye.
