Well due to recent fiasco happening among the ranks of RCMP and their unlawfully enforced methods against civilians or citizens is putting their trust to the test. Recently it had been on a decline at a rapid rate. I seem to have more faith in our veterans and soldiers because their duty is to protect the nation and its citizens; veterans understand the value of freedom and dignity.

My friend just informed me of the details regarding TSE's actions and motives regarding the reclassification of the Swiss Arms. I will refrain from posting the details, since it is just hear-say and can't be quoted. I was going to pick up some cheap .223 ammo from them on saturday, but rest assured, I will take my business elsewhere.
 
Although I'm not directly affected by the Swiss Arms reclassification, I am very concerned. How long until this happens to AR's, bullpups and other "military" rifles? My sympathy goes out to anyone who has been cheeted out of their property.
I just tried to join the NFA today but their webpage appears to be unavailable at the moment. Maybe crashed due to a swell in membership recently? I hope so! I will show my support by joining the NFA to help fund the people who are trying to defend the rights of responsible, law-abiding citizens. I will also write to my local MP and to the Prime Minister about this issue, real letters not just email.
The fact that the RCMP reversed their original decision on the classification of the Swiss Awrms is proof that they were never qualified to make that decision in the first place.

I am so disgusted that we have someone that is in our firearms community that would do such a thing you need to leave this country as you are a disgrace

maybe you havent noticed,,, but the RCMP have been doin that for a long time now

It has happened a bunch of times before. It just seems to have hit critical mass this time. Possibly the lack of a buyout is what did it combined with the cost of these rifles. Regardless it is good the firearms community has finally woken up and found its outrage. We are tired of unelected bureaucrats screwing us over for sport.
 
Before i lite my torch i have a few questions to clarify,

well not so much questions, but hear say i want confirmed


1) TSE was pissed b/c FN got the swiss arms contract, thus asking if some of the swiss arms rifles wre the correct rifle?
2) yadda yadda yadda rcmp gets involved, deducts that all swiss arms are prohibited
3) now everyone is jumping on the i hate TSE bandwagon b/c they are somehow responsible for the RCMP actions?

im confused, please someone explain this to me like im a handcapable child, so that no one can interperate it there way. Just straight forward answer would be nice
 
For those unaware. Friday and Saturday, Easter long weekend each year. Calgary gunshow, largest in Canada. The orgs have their tables there for memberships and donations. Also, TSE has their large annual sale at their store. Probably to draw in all the out of towners that go to the gunshow. They were swamped last year and we`ll see how much impact this will have on the TSE tis year. So, in two months we should know better what arises from this situation. The show would be an ideal place to get people interested in this case, activism wise.

This is very true. I will be writing a letter, while I am at it I will also bring up mag capacity, suppressers, and AR15s
