Does anyone know where to aquire a bayonet for my Swiss Arms Black Special. I've seen the $600 one listed on the internet and that is not an option. $100 is around my price range.

i might be wrong, but i think you might be able to get an adaptor to take the m7/m9 series bayonet- seems to me that tse had such a thing at one time- was just a matter or driving a couple of pins out, replacing the lug, and replacing the pins

That's an Eickhorn KCB-type with a NATO socket. It will work on the SIG. The Swiss Army uses a unique Victorinox/Wenger bayonet.

Thanks guys! I would love the $600 one but its hard to justfy buying a bayonet that is the price of another gun. Besides I dunno if I would feel right stabbing gophers with a $600 bayonet after I shoot them.

So on default, what does this fit then? Would a AR15 work with it?

Yeah, i think it would they require a NATO style bayonet lug to work on a Swiss arms (http://www .gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=157856353#PIC).

Though the company does make other types of catches for that kind of bayonet and one of them can be used for the Swiss arms but the one in particular at trade ex wont work without a adapter(http://www .lbainternational.com/eickhorn/mk_catches.htm the one on the top left corner is the one trade ex has and the top center is the one that can work with a Swiss arms)

My guess is if your AR15 does have a bayonet lug i would work.

Ive taken out the screw as well at the pommel of the bayonet and all it does is hold the end of the pommel to the hilt of the knife

We have a new Swiss Arms bayonet (that was pictured previously) for $195. I also have one the adapters for the rifle that I will include with the purchase. Phil.

Does anyone have or know where to get the NATO style bayonet lug?
Not sure how your German is but they have them at: ww w.gunfactory.ch

Click the picture of the pistol on the left (under the shopping cart), then under 'Langwaffen' click on 'SIG Sturmgewehre'.

From this menu click on 'Zubehör SIG' then just look in the new menu for 'Bajonette'.

You'll see the NATO lug there for $15CHF, along with some other sweet goodies.

Cheers
