In the past when guns have been reclassified do they typically do a buy back? or do you just surrender it and take the loss?

there is no way to get a prohib licence anymore other than granfathering, if a status change happens they will confiscate them and may or may not renumerate you.

they need to justify a paycheck for more than just a day each year so it takes time.
