Swiss Arms Coming And We Want Your Input

BRING IN FLAT TOP MODELS ONLY PLEASE ... those diopter sights make any optic but red dot difficult unless you want a lego block of parts on your cheak rest to get your head high enough to see through the scope.

Some advice to those wanting a Swiss rifle.....

If you plan on running an optic, DO NOT get diopter sights. It is impossible to get a proper cheek weld with an optic mounted higher than the sights.
If you are only going to use irons, then the Diopter s are perfect.

Also the biggest weak link on all AR's are magazines. Malfunctions are almost always magazine related. You will not have magazine related malfunctions with a classic Swiss lower.

My want:

7.62x39
Flat top
Black or green
Any barrel length

5.56
Flat top
Black or green
Any barrel length.
Classic lower

There is a stock riser available for purchase

The stock riser looks and feels like a lego kit.

Actually forget what I said above. Only import flat tops. But also import the DETACHABLE diopter sights.

There is no problem with mounting optics on a diopter model as long as you use the actual SIG mounts and specific optics they were designed to be used with. Although these are limited in selection, everything else either sits too high or is a compromise of some sort.

With regard to the cheek riser, as long as it is a genuine SIG part and not airsoft it snaps on solid and does not come off easy.

Classic Green with genuine SIG 551 mount and TA11 (designed for and used by Polizei).

flat top,
green
1:7 or bust

nice to see so many guys above share my preference for 1:7, its difficult to find a 223 semi in 1:7
