Can anyone recommend a muzzle comp for the CQB. Would like to try and minimize the barrel lift. Thank you for all advice, reference.. The barrel is 8.9" long if that helps.

It's gonna be TOUGH to find one for the CQB. It's a weird thread if I recall, and Noveske only did a small run of the KX3's a long time ago.

Anything you want is probably going to be custom made. To be honest - I'd just use the stock one! You'll be hard pressed to find something else that makes that big of a difference.

You could try some "AK-74 style" muzzle brake (with 14x1 LH threading), should work pretty well (not the prettiest muzzle device though). I used to have one in my CQB, but I've been using a "homemade" brake instead lately. Double hearing protection warmly recommended :) Muzzle blast with a brake is hmm almost unpleasant.

KX3 is better for taming the muzzle blast, but I don't think it's the best muzzle device for reducing barrel lift. Evidently KX3 also increases the "back pressure" (I have impression that it was designed for boosting AR-15 SBR cycling), and CQB is already more or less "over gassed" out of the box, in my opinion (I have extra/custom port in my CQB gas valve with reduced 1.1 mm diameter, for little smoother cycling).
