Swiss Arms CQB + Aimpoint T-1 Micro = Perfection?

Why would no one want it? Having the ability to use the widely available AR magazines would be nice.

That's what an AR-15 is for. If you're getting a SIG rifle just so you can use AR-15 mags, you'd me much better off with a Mini-14 or something. You're missing the point entirely.

I love to use AR mags with a Sig upper :) its awhole lot better than a mini-14........ ;)

I`ve seen 3 so far, no schmucking going on here. A Sig lower that uses 10rd RRA mags and Pmags is genius.

A schmuck would be someone that buys that surefire M520 forend....

Yeah, I guess it would be nice to use 10 round mags but I'll probably stick to an AR for AR mags. I can understand why someone would want the option, it's just not for me.

I was wondering what that thing was... I can't understand the obsession with attaching flashlights to firearms that can only be taken to the range (OK for duty rifles, obviously).

Unless you shoot at night I suppose... I've certainly been know to loose a few tracers at dusk ;).

Cheers

anyone with micro + larue 660HK combo on his cqb yet?:D

Ya that would probably be the best mount to use, found the optical heights for the larue mounts.

"Quote"...some info for you when using the larue mounts and a Aimpoint Micro.
-height of optical axis above the rail...
...1.64...660
...1.31...660HK
...0.84...661 "quote"

I tried the 660HK mount on my carbine the optic sat too high for my tastes.

I would have guessed that as well. I tried the LT660 on the CQB, and it was back to a chin weld - which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place. I can't imagine the HK mount an it's 1/3" difference would be much better.

Great info thanks! now the question is whether LT661 Low mount is about the same height as stock mount.

ADM makes a couple different height mounts for the T-1 aswell, still looking for actually optic heights on those.

Update - NOW it's perfection. The front rail and stubby vert grip give it a much better feel.
