Swiss Arms - Don't turn them in!

This is a fantastic offer from Arms East and I highly suggest you all take them up on it. If, however, you decide not to take them up on this and we (heaven forbid) get to the point where confiscation occurs and there is no compensation.....please strip your rifles to the serialized receiver and return only that piece (feel free to also chop it up for effect). After all, according to THEIR law, that is the only part that is truly regulated. Hang on to the rest of the parts, or if you don't have the need for them, sell them on the EE and get compensated from some other CGNer that is willing to sit on them.

But as has been said in this thread in others, our main priority should be to fight this ruling. This is only the first step in a very, very troubling direction.

We as a species have seen this type of thing happen over and over again in history all over the world. It is happening here, and will only get worse.

Everyone must join the NFA, CSSA, or whatever other oganization that they can think of, and make ourselves counted. Only if they know our true numbers, will they even consider us and our rights as the 'voting' public.

I have joined them and l also vote for pro gun, or at least, not anti-gun parties.

Indeed a generous offer from you guys but the whole fabric of this is wrong. We are law abiding citizen but this is ridiculous. This was not OOps! we made a mistake when we classified those rifles, they were NR and R for 10 friggin years. Who's to say the same thing will not happen with any other gun you own.
When will this end if we don't stand and fight this. It's mind boggling how the RCMP can just issue a reclassification and DEMAND that you surrender your property,we DO have a RIGHT to property last time i checked. Then what, they'll send you an official letter and if your answer gets lost, they'll come take it themselves? What if you don't have it anymore, you'll be considered by those gun grabber officers a criminal in your own home and questionned ? Asked for papers of where it went and when and if you did the transfer "legally" so they can accuse you of something else?
Sounds a lot like gestapo to me, which is why it has to be stopped, we don't want to go there.

Walt has always been a class act. I've bought two stag AR rifles from him.

I'm currently seeing if Shooting Centre can get us Famae 540 upper receivers so we can keep our lowers and dump in the upper parts from our Swiss rifles. Call this plan B. Any help with this type of solution would be great!

This our time boys to make a stand and force the issue.....no more 1992 or 1994 of gun confiscations. We have to fight this tooth and nail. No more donations to the CPC until this issue is resolved.
 
f#%^%. CZ858 just went prohib too. That's two rifles I'm now screwed on. If you own antiques they have changed the rules so some of those will now be restricted or prohibited.

Putting in another call to my MP. We need to stop this fast. Apparently it's open season on firearms owners.
