Swiss Arms essential accessories

I've got a Swiss Arms CG. Just wondering what everyone views as essential accessories for the Swiss Arms line. I'm thinking - types of slings, cheek piece, rails etc. Also what maintenance accessories - has anybody found a bore guide or brushes/rod that works with the Swiss stuff. And soft accessories - what are you guys using for mag pouches etc.

Scope base for sure if you plan to mount optics. The Shooting Edge sells some pretty sweet Canadian made ones.

Aside from a picatinny rail for mounting optics I never really went for extra accessories. I've got a cheek piece that I almost never use. Just get a good sling. Just about anything from BFG or Specter works great. Don't forget HK hooks or MASH hooks!

If ya wanna use an optic, get the pictinny rail, if not then just stock up on mags!

That rifle is damn near perfect as it is, i keep having to drool over my buddies Black Special till i can get one myself.


Its got awesome iron sights, a great bipod... Mabey you can add a picatinny rail to the bottom handguard like my friend did for a verticle grip, but really thats it.

Mags and ammo, its a hungry gun!

Anybody found a way to carry Swiss Arms 20/5 mags??

AR-15 Triple Magazine pouches with any sort of divider cut out to hold two of them. Or perhaps a M14 pouch. Seems to be the way I remember it being described anyways.

I use the canadian C7 20rd mag pouches and belt setup. works well and it is available,as it is canadian and surplus. the mags "catch" in the pouches, but its no big deal because of the reasonable cost.

I use the Tactical Tailor 7.62mm single mag pouches, with the elastic cord. Plenty o' room.
