I think the suggestion is reliabe, not perfect.

Ergonomics= eye of beholder
Weight = debatable, the Carbine weighs the same as an HK 416
price = higher than most, but have you looked at the prices of the HK product?
Piston needs cleaning = don't they all?

Many armies have gone to them, particularly for Special Forces use.

Who says the piston needs cleaning? I've never had a malfuction...

Buying a few rifles for T&E or cross training is far from adoption despite what wiki may lead you to believe.

They are a nice target rifle though.

True, but again many Special Forces use the SAN guns as standard issue, your opinion not withstanding.
