Richard, is that the low profile rail from B&T???

I just picked up a Bushnell Trophy red dot on a whim because I wanted some optics for a range day. Cheap, looks like an ACOG but performs like a standard red dot. Pretty neat T-style reticle. Multiple color settings for sunlight exposure.

Works pretty sweet until I drop some real cash on an ACOG this spring.

I had mine like this with an ACOG compact for awhile. This is no good though. It's too high and I had to almost jury rig the mount (backwards with the sight shifted to the back of the mount) to get it to sit back far enough. I use this ACOG on my AR now, which it is much better suited to.

Now I have it like this with a T1 Micro. Much better set up. I think this is by far the way to go with a no-mag red dot set-up on a Swiss Arms. You can use the red-dot, the irons or both. The red dot sits right on top of the front post in the sight picture. That is Kyle rail by the way, one of the world's few pieces of indestructible technology!

Run your Elcan further back with a KPA rail. Or else you will not be able see sh:t with the eye relief given.

What rail is that you are using???

I just bought the low profile B&T mount from wolverine. I want my setup exactly like yours. Got a cheek piece aswell so if it does sit a little high Im not worried about that anymore.

Thanks for all the help guys
