Swiss Arms or Benelli MR1

I am considering buying a Non Restricted black rifle. So far I narrowed down my options to Swiss Arms or the Benelli MR1

Here are my 2 questions:
1) Are there any major issues with these rifles?
2) If I decide to purchase a Swiss Arms rifle, which one do you recommend and why?

I am willing to pay up to $3500 for this

Another vote for the Swiss. I haven't handled the MR1 but based on the reviews I have read, and my experience with Swiss Arms rifles, hedge your bets and go for the proven rifle.

As for which particular model, I assume you want a non-restricted ? Basically, you are choosing between a Classic Green, Black Special, or Black Special Target which is the flattop version. If you want iron sights (damn good iron sights, at that), go for the Classic Green or Black Special. If you are mounting optics, I would strongly recommend a flattop as is makes mounting optics easier, both in terms of not needing the B&T scope rail but also in keeping the optic a bit lower (and not needing a cheek piece, as the B&T rail + rings often raises a scope to the point of not being able to achieve a proper cheek weld).
 
No question. Swiss Arms. Non-restricted right now, your two choices are the Classic Green and Black Special/Target. I prefer the Green rifles myself. There are no issues with the Swiss Arms other than their price tag.
 
To quote someone who knows far more on the subject than I do, "SIG 500 series are the best Assault Rifles ever made". The Swiss Arms is our version of that, to my understanding.

Yeah, go with the Swiss Arms.
 
most people are going to say swiss because they own them and the mr1 is a brand new rifle i say try them both out and go from there dont go with what people say on here... just my drunken opinion :)

+1, and most of the people will say swiss and the have never hold one too lolll

I have choosed the MR1 for 2 reason, weight (almost 2 pound less) and 10 round mag, don't get me wrong, swiss is a top rifle and probably more accurate, (need to scope my MR1 to fins out) but, the my MR1 is ultra reliable as the swiss, the fit and finish is awesome as the swiss and since i will never have to fight against 100's of aliens and empty thousand of round to save my butt, the thin barrel of the MR1 is OK for me
 
Has anyone here even seen let alone shoot the Benneli?

I'm thinking not... :p

Wish I could give advise without knowing anything about or experience with one of the rifles being asked about.

While I currently have 3 Benelli (i.e. SBE 2, Super Nova and an R1), I think that in this case (non-restricted black rifle) a Swiss Arms is the way to go :)
