I don't own one.
Pricey, selector is somewhat difficult to operate with the shooting hand, magazine rock-in locking system different from standard AR method, heavy steel receiver, removing carbon build-up from gas valve and cylinder lengthy procedure (but will operate even when very heavily fouled), folding stock not all that practical and ejection deforms cases, but apart from that, fantastic firearm. I plan on having all 3 versions when I emerge from subsistence studenting.

Just a question of priorities! Nothing a semester eating a Mr. Noodles only diet from Costco won't cure! Four months later you got yourself a new SIG!...and, been there, done that!

Haha, true, but I like my hair....
Ah! But the hair will grow back and after a few months back on protein, you're teeth will even start to tighten back up in the gums!![]()
It's probably best if I post this in there.
Was at the gunshow in Bern today where Swissarms had a rather big booth (they had a tiny one at the last couple gunshows I was)
Looks like they finally managed to finish their new 553.
Scanned a page of their new (150 pages thick) catalog:

Pictures are coming soon.

I'd say the usual flaws, price and the cocking handle being on the right instead of the left. Also the mag release system. I prefer an AR style. If only they would put the cocking handle on the left then I think the 556 would be near perfect in the latest CTR and rail configuration.
I was told 553 is for the civies and the 552 is for the LE/Mil.
