A few questions for those in the know about Classic Greens and such...

Of the upper or lower, which part is considered the receiver (registered)?

Are uppers available for purchase on their own?

Is the rifles design conducive to swapping uppers and lowers?

Thanks guys!

the lower would be the reciever. Haven't really seen uppers for sale as I don't think they're really sold that way unlike AR's.

No, the upper is the registered part. Its just the opposite of the AR.

While you could technically switch uppers/lowers around, it isn't financially feasible to do so, especially given the fact that the upper is actually considered the firearm under our law.

Also, the restricted uppers (carbine+CQB) won't work with the lowers that are fitted to the non-restricted rifles. This was done deliberately to prevent the switching of uppers being used to restrict the entire line. I read this here a couple of years ago, the guys at TSE would know better.
