Hello Swiss Arms owners.

Getting back into coyote hunting and the dogs have been coming in like mad this year. My 22-250 marlin bolt gun has been doing a good job so far. But i missed a chance at a tricky double as the second dog took off immediately.

What im trying to determine now is if the recoil on a Swiss Arms black special would be soft enough that i could pop off 2-3 Rounds in rapid succession.

How does the impulse on the Swiss Arms compare to a heavy braked AR or any of the other non restricteds out there.

IMHO, I would say popping off 2-3 rounds rapidly and getting "reasonable accuracy" would be no problem. I have no experience with AR's, but I used my black special on gophers, and never had a problem with quick follow up shots. The weight of the Black special would help in this regard.

I shoot my Classic Green extensively and it has even less recoil than the C7 does (yes with 5.56 nato). Double taps are easy to control with this rifle.

With its heavy weight, and flash hider that omits a cut on the bottom to help with muzzle rise, then combine that with the light .223 round and GREAT bore axis... it is a no brainer.
I purchased the 1:10 twist rate for mine & it loves the 45 grainers!

Same here with the black special 1 in 10, i actually easily see my shot hitting on the paper, ( more jump on my MR-1 with the same round) WWB 45 gr at 3600 fps are extra accurate for a cheap round, did not reload for it yet... JP.
