So I have purchased a Swiss Arms CQB and during the waiting process I am hoping fellow CGNers can keep me busy by contributing photos of their Swiss guns to gawk over

I'll start with my mine (so excited to get it!)

I already saved most of those pictures to my gun folder :D we need some new content, I can't find a dedicated Swiss Arms forum anywhere - and because the US doesn't have these guns the forums are really lacking!!

this picture just inspired me to speed up our hand guard project, right after the new lowers.

would have to concur with UW. had mine up for sale and then had to pull it to never again list it, one of those that should forever stay in the family, fun as heck to shoot and accurate literally sub moa with the right ammo. Due to barrel pressue sensitivities of the SAN's this one suffers the least due to the length of barrel and I have found it to be consistently more accurate than any of the longer barreled san's. One helluva rifle. Bucks a little more than the carbines and classic green due to the shorter gas piston and higher pressure but still and absolute pleasure to shoot. topping it with an aimpoint comp m4 is a great way to go

us has a great forum for the 556 platform, similar but not near the quality, lots of great info on the rifle though and handloads, etc.

You just made a very smart gun purchase Danimal. The CQB is my favorite gun of all time..... even more so than my coveted HK rarities.

woohoo thanks UW - your PMs helped me decide when I was eying it at first! to be honest - it was outside of my price range a lot  but I figured I could stretch it since it's not as common a gun and when I got the SIG bug in the future there would probably be 0 for sale and I would end up buying stuff I don't even want to fill the void.

thanks everyone else too, this is a keeper for me - I like HK UMPs as well but a USC conversion would have cost me more time and money, and would have been a USC conversion (not the real deal) so this was the best possible outcome.

Is it possible to order a black CQB brand new in Canada? If so, who do I talk to (do not want the TSE logo on my gun btw)

HAHA OH MAN people on the train think I am nuts laughing out loud while looking at my blackberry! Nice ones babes, but you will see me lose 150 lbs and disinegrate before I let this machine out of my hands

Call me crazy but i decided i would never sell my SAN when i disassembled it for the first time. Everyone always said "oh yeah great workmanship blah blah blah" and that was enough for me to drop 3k and take a risk. But when I saw the longstroke piston and the triple coil springs and the 2 setting gas plug, and the steel in the barrel being so hard u can use stainless brushs in it. (My gawd the SAN cleaning kit is more precise and well put together then my now sold mini 14 target.) I can't wait to buy my next SAN which without a doubt will be a CQB just like yours except green plastic. Welcome to the club and have a nice stay.

p.s. I know the feeling you were talking about while lauging at ur blackberry. People at university don't really understand why i should be looking at pictures of guns. it's sad that i usually try and hide my screen a bit when im on CGN!!!
