I just bought a Black Special Target.... Waiting for it to show up!

What are these guns also knwon as? the 550 or 552? Cause I found some rails for the 552 in the states for a hell of a lot less then the B&T... Will a rail for the 552 fit the swiss arms?

PE-90, or some variation of that.

Are there any 556s in Canada? Most of the non556 550 series guns here are full auto NFA examples with price tags that make your eyes water.
My 556 is a swat patrol. Thing runs great!

Are there many options for a replacement charging handle? One of the few complaints I have with my Classic Green is the conflict between the base of my optics (fatass Elcan Spectre DR mounted on the low profile rail) and the charging handle. I can still pull it back, but using my fingertips instead of a better grip on it just doesn't feel right.

The only aftermarket part I've seen to address the problem is from Griffin Tactical in the States... at $55 USD. Plus, it states that because it bends so far the other way, it will conflict with folding-stock versions of the Sig 556/550 series.

 I'll admit it, I am extremely jealous!
If it makes you feel any better, the 556 is the only version of this fine weapon we can get, no tavors here, no more norincos, and a 14.5 barrel is a 6 month wait, $200 tax, and registration. you guys have some very cool things up on us!:)

Sure...but you have 30 round mags and the AR15 can be a truck gun!

Considering the markup Canadians pay, a $200 tax fee for SBR, Suppressors, Full Auto is something most Canadians would not even hesitate to pay for in the US. Or multiple payments for more than one of the above features!

6 months is nothing compared to how long we have to wait for stuff up here.

Full auto (NFA) guns are VERY expensive. Nothing made after 1986 can be transfered to civillians which means there are a limited number of full auto legal guns here. Something like 180,000, which sounds like a lot until you factor in the 300,000,000 population. They usually cost 10x as much as the semi stuff we can get. Supply and demand sucks! All my stuff is semi.

how's the airsoft gun for fit n finish? i saw one in a glass case one time, thought it was the real deal

Nothing compared to the real one. Although the one pictured has a plastic body, and some other brands have metal bodies and they are much better and very close to real steel.

A rail for the lower handguard? Yes it will fit. All of the handguards on the various models have the same angle.
