I just ordered one of these from Canada Ammo... The price was really good and I was just looking for a cheap plinker. Does anyone have any info on these though? There's zero info on the internet regarding these.

From the little I've read is that this 22lr is made by gsg and rebranded... May or may not be accurate
 
I was tempted by these a few months ago , then I found out they are a discount version of the mosquito , so I declined
 
Craig, that's intense! Did you have the SA22? Or an actual mosquito? This gun is supposedly made by gsg who seem to have a good rep.... Maybe I'll call and cancel/upgrade to another model :/
 
Well that's discomforting lol.... I'm torn... My main reason for picking this gun up was the cheap mags... Send like every 22, mags are 50bucks... These are like 30...

In the end mosquito's were supposed to have an upgraded slide, So these SA22's might have a good slide, But Iam guessing they will be as picky with ammo as a mosquito
 
It's the eternal struggle. Everyone wants a full sized .22lr pistol that's identical to there favourite centerfire. They just don't want to pay the same price, cuz after all, it's just a .22lr.....

So they settle for zinc aluminum 7/8ths replicas or guns that don't really operate the same but look similar.
