I'm just curious, is there an aftermarket or factory safety that's a little longer and easier to access? I have very large palms but short fingers which, coupled with the large grip makes things interesting. Not that I own one, I sold mine, just academic knowledge.
 
I have no clue if it fits, but I saw it when looking for other things on the Brownells site. I do believe it should work and I am pretty sure it is made by Kreb's so it should be quality. The only thing is that it is not ambi.

Probably to Mike, from Canmore.

I hadn't actually thought of these before, but that Krebs at Brownells seems pretty nice. It also says for the 550, 551, and 556 Classic, so you would be good to go, if you had a gun to put it on.
 
Yep I didn't ask his last name, I just checked his PAL. Said he was an avid boater though. ;)
Yeah I did find it, tbh I'm a right handed shooter so ambi isn't the biggest deal on earth. If I had a Swiss arms, which I don't.
