Swiss arms Sig, and RRA pistol mags?

Can the non-restricted Swiss arms Sig use the legal 10 round AR pistol mags?

If you somehow got a SIG556 lower I imagine you could use it with the pistol mags.

It was quite a while ago. There is an adapter for the galil, but the issue is the location of the locking hole in relation to the bottom of the receiver on the 550

but if you got one of those it'd be prohib anyway, so legally you'd be LE/MIL and exempt from mag capacity restrictions. I'm assuming the 556 lower is the registered part - has that been determined yet?

wow, that opens an interesting can of worms then, doesn't it. I knew the upper was registered on our Sig's, but hadn't considered that it would be on the Americanized version.

FRT lists as prohib. It's as fugly as they get anyway, honestly I think we're better served with the ones we can get (lots in the US agree)

...Sig 556 in Canada?!!!...don't even think about it!...

....I saw them at the S.H.O.T. show,... and they are absolute trash!!!...I was not impressed at all...everyone in the states that buy them just try to convert them to the Swiss version!....
