Swiss Arms top rails....

Other than B&T and Kyle Precision, who else manufactures top rails for Swiss Arms rifles?

Thank you Uncle Walther for asking this. I wanted to ask the same thing.

And please people , explain what need to be done to put them on.
Being all thumbs as I am, I need to know how much damage I will inflict on my pricy rifle in the effort of mounting one on.

It really depends how smart you are. We had a guy asking if his scope base was tight enough when he started bending his rear sight!!

Just snug the bolt up against the rear sight housing. It's not rocket science. If you can't figure it out you really shouldn't own firearms, or anything mechanical for that matter.

Bryce, relax. I have never seen one first hand and when folks show pics of it, I am still waiting for a pic of the detail of the rail. That's why i want to know.

Are they held on by spring tension like the AR180 mounts, do you have to tap or do you just replace a screw somewhere? No one has shown or explained it so far.

I am sure I could figure it out if I could only see one. In the meantime I'll be happy to have an explanation too.

There were some made by PRI - they are awesome. The very old B&T is unimpressive.

I wasn't directing my post specifically at you. More the people that have the rail in their hands and still can't figure it out.

The way the scope base works is a bolt in the back it turned out to push against the rear sight housing. This pushes the scope base forward onto the dovetail section on the front of the rifle receiver. That's it.
