Since we're getting off-topic (original questions were answered), I'd like to ask:
How is the SAN ejection pattern for a lefty? Would you suggest a brass deflector?

All i know is that the brass from my gun is launched twelve paces to the right and 9 paces forward.. From what i can gather this is the normal ejection pattern for every SAN rifle. To keep the finish of the reciever from getting bashed up you need to put some black velcro right where the brass smacks into it. In addition it bashed the brass up pretty good.. putting a good ding in the body and squashing the neck... You can reload them ... i have.. but every now and then you get one that you damage the neck trying to resize it so you have to toss it out... Am not at home or i would post some pics..

Im a lefty, ive never had any trouble with the ejected brass hitting me. The rifle throws them about 3 steps forward and 8 to the right !!

Don't hesitate ... go buy one ... you won't regret it! :D

Otokiak

For a long time I resisted, telling myself that I didn't need another .223 and that this one is as heavy as an M14.

But I got a weakness, there was too many of you saying how great these rifles are and nobody to tell the opposite.

So I just got a nice Classic Green in a trade. I must agree that the sights, trigger, stock, ergonomics and action are great. Still have to test-fire it.

With a bit of cleaning (my posts for example), this thread could become a sticky "Swiss Arms for newbees" or FAQ.

With that BT scope mount, which reddot allow you to cowitness?
My Fastfire is too high.

Also on the bolt carrier and receiver, the NB (sign in a reticle) 09, does it means manufactured in 2009?

If you're in Ontario, it'll be ~200 after HST :)mad:) and shipping.

That's why you get your friend in Calgary to pick it up for you and mail it out. If you're really scared of the HST police get your friend to write up a receipt for $1.00 from him to you. After all, it's his decision what he sells it to you for, Right?
