How do you like that muzzle brake?? I'm thinking of getting one for my K31, after I buy a crate of surplus of course!

It definitely reduces recoil a fair bit, but I haven't shot the rifle enough to gauge any affect on accuracy, so the jury is still out on it.

Swiss Products, who make the muzzle brake, state that it has absolutely no effect on accuracy of your K31. If it grouped like a fire hose in a gale before you fitted it, the same will be true after you fit it. The opposite holds true as well, of course.

I don't have too much interest in surplus rifles but if I did it would be the K31 hands down. What a great rifle.

The ONLY downside imo is you can't find 7.5 x 55 anywhere near as easily as say .308.

They are great guns for cheap accurate shooting. I had stock sent up from the states to give it a better fit
