Hello fellow CGN'ers.

Well I just received my first Swiss Arms rifle the other day from a member of the board.

I have been around firearms all my life and have always had an interest in "military type" rifles. My Dad has owned guns as long as I can remember and has some very cool stuff to LOOK at (thanks to the liberal gov). I bought a Robarms M96 about a year and half ago which was my first "black rifle". I have had a lot of fun with this rifle and learned a lot with it, however my new Black Special makes it look like a cheap piece of crap!

I took the Swiss into the mountains in my gunslinger pack on my sled yesterday and fired it for the first time. What an absolute joy of a rifle! It is so well made that I think it will outlast me by a long shot. Very comfortable to carry and use, seems to be quite accurate, and very compact folded up in my pack.

All in all I am very happy with my new rifle. I am a little disappointed that the accessories are so expensive, although it seems there may be some more options coming along in the future. 5 round mags is such a tease after using the LAR-15's in my 96, but that may be able to be resolved soon as well I gather.

I will include a couple of pics of my "range" from my little expedition yesterday. Surprisingly I didn't get any pictures of the actual rifle, more to come. Enjoy!

Loving the Swiss quality,

It was about a half hour drive on the highway and then an hour or so in on the sleds. My rifle has a factory installed Pic rail with flip up irons built in. I think this is a target model, but I'm not sure. Either way you go, I don't think you can go wrong!

Aw man that is awesome to be that close to purity and when are you going to post some pics of your new toy I'd love to see them and if I may, all angles please lol
