History of the Gun Run
The first Swiss arms race took place in 1916, during the First World War , with the 1st Swiss Army Luggage March in Zurich . This was organized by the then polysportiven FC Zurich .
1934, the first Frauenfeld military betting march was held. The Frauenfelder (marathon distance) is now regarded as the kings run of arms races.
