Can anyone help me figure out the difference between the two...I found the older model on sale, but if there are more features on the newer model that could be a deal brfeaker....on the website it seems they have the same features.

Any Help Would be apperciated.

Also, Noticed the compact only comes in 3".....are 3.5" shells really needed?

I think the older compact field has spacers to adjust length of pull and also "perma cote" finish. I guess they took these features away from the new model so they can sell it a little cheaper. If you can pick up the older model for the same price or cheaper than the new one, I would think that would be the way to go.

If you are of average build and height it will probley be to short in the length of pull for you .shoulder the gun be for you buy .

Yes I believe the compact was intended for ladies and or youth. But if ya got trex arms you should be okay.

Im 5' 7" but always feel most rifles/ shotgun are too long for me, i did a general LOP measurement with trigger pad to bicep and come up at 12.75 inches give or take....I guess I have short arms....

No 3.5" shells are not needed, the 3" will be just fine.
