I’m wondering is it worth it spending the extra $1000 for the maxus or the A400 or nah?
I saw the video from target focused life, but still undecided!

Thx!

Pick the gun that fits you best. As mentioned, the A400 will fit differently than your other two choices.

If given the choice, I’d go with the original Maxus or the SX3 over the Maxus 2 and SX4. Have a look at the Browning Silver as well. I much prefer the Silver over its Winchester sibling

Fit ?
The Beretta and the maxus will have shims so as far as fit that is a non issue the sx4 does not ha e shims so the stock dimensions are what you get .
Now feel that’s a different thing the 400 will feel completely different than the other two it’s a bulky gun larger frame not a streamlined gun
The browning and the Winchester will similar.
As far as quality the 3 are on the same level very reliable. I personally don’t like the feel of the beretta but that’s my preference

Shims allow some adjustment, but they rotate the butt stock around the receiver, which changes the angle of the comb, to raise or lower it. I had an A400, and no matter how I used the shims, it never fit as good as my SX-3. I took my SX-3, my A400, and a SBE2, all fit to me, and I shot a few rounds of skeet with each, and I kept the SX-3, as I shot it better. Now I have a Maxus for waterfowl, with an SX-3 as a backup, and I can shoot them equally well.

Exactly….but what do we know….we’re not gunsmiths……
