Snap caps on all my shotguns, because I don't always take them down to store them...

The A-Zoom I have I believe I picked up at P&d in Edmonton but I don't recall the cost. I also have a few snap caps I've made up for 12ga. & 10ga. shotguns. What I did is deprime an empty case and fill the primer pocket with glue from my glue gun and level it off before it sets up. If I remember correctly, that was a 'trick' I picked up from this web site. I have a few of these 'homegrown' snap caps, and they seem to work quite well.Levi Garrett said:Thanks all,, pretty much all that has been said I have figured, except the leaving it cocked, guess its much like a magazine spring. Will look into the cheaper snap caps for the older girls, if I ever get out of the sticks

What you paying for a-zoom , and where?
Levi Garrett said:Do you folks leave the guns cocked (hammerless) when not in use or fire on an empty chamber, used hulls,or snap caps? (if snap caps , can add up if you got a few guns)
Or is their a trick , like with bolt guns , holding the trigger when closing the bolt?
Thanks![]()
