SXS Double Barrel 12 Ga 3 1/2"

Does anybody build/sell a Double barrel (SXS) in 12 ga that takes the 3 1/2" shells?

Nope. If I can find the kind of SXS 12 ga I'm looking for this would be the right section for it.

If you could find a strong enough 3" gun with a lot of metal you could ream it out I would think. I've never heard of a 3 1/2" sxs. Why not go for a 10ga?

There were a few around when the 3 1/2 chamber was first introduced, they were in a couple of Gun Digests in the early 90's.

1972 the gun you are looking for is the Beretta 627, it was advertised as being available in 12 gauge with 3 1/2inch chambers in 1992 for sure, possibly other years.
