Good afternoon oh wise gunsmiths of CGN...

I inherited a SxS with a missing part on the fore-arm, I believe it is called the push rod/release.

I would like to know the general cost/difficulty to get this replaced.

Any insight or recommendations would be appreciated.

It would really help if you folks would put in your location.

If you live anywhere around Vernon BC, Del Selin's likely has the part you need or something which can be modified to fit.

prob a shotgun that was used in Cowboy action and had the ejection guts removed to comply with the rules, if you supply the model & brand there will almost certainly be somebody with those parts in a bag gathering dust.

Who it was manufactured by would help, but the first place I'd look would be Numrich Gun parts.
Spanish SxS from 1962, not sure who the manufacturer "US" would be. Can't find anything online about it.

I will check out that website, thanks for the link.PXL_20240918_011547424.jpgPXL_20240918_011604686.jpg

I guess that would help.

Thanks for the recommendation, sadly I am located in Eastern Ontario.

Your SxS was made by the now long closed Spanish gun builder - Hijos de M. Bereciartua.

The US code in front of the serial number indicates Hijos de M. Bereciartua as the maker who made better than average shotguns out of Spain.
