So I bought a Laurona SxS off the EE and I love it! but I was wondering if there is a screw alignment issue and if someone knows of a tool to tighten it.

Notice the firing pin cover-screw-thing (what's it's real name?) on the right is lined up perfectly but the one on the left is a little off.

Is this an issue I should be concerned with? The gun operates flawlessly but I thought I'd ask just in case.

Is there a specific tool that fits the two holes for tightening? (cheap trigger lock keys don't work - tried that first)

Can someone provide some insight into this please?

Thanks,

A spanner wrench is the correct tool. And yes, the bushing should be tightened.

Try to fit a very close fitting pin into the holes, the better the fit the less burring will occur. Leave the pins long, but as short as possible. Use a pair of pliers to firmly hold both pins. Insert a screwdriver between the pins and use it to rotate the bushing into place.

If you think you will use the tool more often either make a better one or purchase the correct tool.
