I would think that it should be able to be shortened.It would depend on what kind of stock it is. Take off the butt pad and see if it has a foam core with a composite overlay. If it does then you should be able to shorten it with the use of a very fine blade a little tape to keep it from chipping and of course the recoil pad will have to be reground to fit but it should not be that much of a problem.Also is the stock black or a camo pattern as this will affect how the finish will look after if it has to be repaired from chipping.If you have any questions just pm me....regards...dennis
I just did one for a fella,luckily for me it was a solid syn. stock off a Parker Hale.
I used a "Limbsaver Grind to fit" recoil to replace the old one,from Brownells.
