synthetic stocks for M38

googled this and it was one of the first responses.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Black-Synthetic-Rifle-Stock-Mosin-Nagant-M38-M39-M44-91-30-1891-30-/330761005052

Have a Bell & Carson carbelite stock on one of my Swedes.
The foreend is somewhat too flexible, mine got stiffened with a HD motorcycle push rod bedded in epoxy. Better now, but a full 1/8th" clearance still needed for reliable free float.
The length of pull is a bit short for me at 13 1/4".
The shape and feel of the stock is quite good.
After bedding the action in Marinetex, this one shoots 1/2 moa consistently.

Trade Ex has some nice walnut stocks at the moment, should you opt for wood.

Just looking for options here as I like my full wood almost mint condition husky.. But I don't want her to get banged up out in the bush hunting.

I have a sportered m38 and have been looking for a stock for a while. ATI no longer makes one, ram line has discontinued it I think but they still have a couple kicking around. Boyds makes a few nice ones but they come unfinished in walnut or laminate. Any others I have seen have been too expensive for a bush rifle. I'm still looking.

x2 but just my two cents. Just looking at the M38 on the EE right now from PP, the wood is drop dead gorgeous :).

If I hadn't just bought an M38 and an M96 a few weeks ago I would snatch it up. The wood on both of those rifles looks real purdy :)
