T-97 Scope mounting options?

I was just looking at one of the gun trading sites on Facebook and a guy has a T-97 for sale with a scope mounted to the carry handle. It appears he taped the rail to the handle to achieve this. Now, I'm not a black rifle enthusiast, but I'm wondering if this is a common thing to do?

You can get a rail that goes in the handle but it still is super high up for a scope.

The t97.ca flat top upper is the only way to do it nicely.

I see. maybe that's what he had. The angle of the scope was the same as the angle of the handle, pointing downward. I can't imagine there would even be enough adjustment in the scope to get it on target, but he must have figured out a way.

Definately invest in the FTU
