Anyone used it? Do they even load F shot any more? I haven't found any searching online, seems like Winchester offers loads with T shot. I figure they would be an absolute hammer on geese. How many pellets to a shell and anything else you can tell me is much appreciated.
T and F shot in a 10 gauge.

I have used it. It is great for missing geese. I use 2's. T's have less than half the pellets per load than 2's and F's are even worse.
1 3\8 OZ 2'S = 180 pellets
1 3\8 OZ T'S = 70 pellets
1 3\8 OZ F'S = 40 pellets.
1 3\8 OZ 2'S = 180 pellets
1 3\8 OZ T'S = 70 pellets
1 3\8 OZ F'S = 40 pellets.
Like sk hunter says you have to be on them for F shot and if you are can make some serious mess. I still use T and TT in a small percentage in duplex reloads loads normally over No. 2 or BB or BBB and only for my third shot.
As far as the 1st and second shot normally high speed RSI reloads of no.2 or bb pending how they are working that week
The duplex loads are unreal and remind me of the good old BB lead days. Nothing to smoke them at 60 yards plus if need be trying to finish a cripple etc
As far as factory the odd time I see some remington TT but they don't pattern very well in my browning golds.

I duplex f over bbb and bb you really got to match the choke to the shot,factory browning mod gives a poor pattern i use a briley mod it gives me 75% @ 40 i use it for my 3'rd an long.We don't have anywhere near the #'s you got out there the biggest flock i've ever seen home is 4 to 500 birds we mostly jump shoot at long range hear but i wouldn't shoot steel past 60yds.It just doesn't retain enough energy out that far in my opinion thats why i put a little f in the mix hopin to get lucky lol .Cause 1 f can put the hurt on a goose,i did test some f only loads the patterns had a lot of holes in it.Ive got a new briley improved mod choke comin in i'll be testing that at 50/60 yds to see how it patterns i'm hopin to get a little more range with it we'll see....
Thanks for the replies. I'm waiting for my new to me bps 10 to show up in the mail. I bought it mostly for pass shooting and want basically the most range I can squeeze out of it. After some reading I might have to try a few boxes of hevi-shot too.
Cool.Nothing like a 10ga The bps 10 can be a real bear to some guys. One of the two shotguns in my life that beat the crap out of me and I am not small. One box in a day and I was hurting with a purple shoulder. May have been a fit issue but didnot seem to be
I would be putting a real good recoil pad on it right from the start.

Good to know, thanks. I'll run a few shots through it to see how it is but a good pad couldn't make things worse. I've heard they can be tough to swing and maneuver because of their size and weight. I hope that's not the case for me. I have big hands and long arms for my size. (6' 190 lbs), I guess there's only one way to find out.
