Pachmayr's are really nice as are the Brownell's ones. I've said it before and I'll say it again, dryfiring is the single best form of practice to develop your shooting skills. I do not understand why people are so afraid of doing it. It will not harm 99.9% of modern guns. The only gun I own that I don't dryfire empty is my T/C Encore as it does screw up that gun. It's the only one I own snap caps for and they are all A-Zoom's by Pachmayr.I've seen mention of rimfire dry fire snap caps in the thread - can you recommend a brand of one you're using. I'd like to get some.
The only inert cartridges I've seen are proving or cycling rounds.
I also avoid excessive dryfiring but I agree that modern rimfires are better designed to avoid damage and if it was not you would likely find a "DO NOT DRYFIRE" warning in your search for info.....
