The new issue of ''Sports Afield'' has an article on rimfires and rates the T/C Classic as one of the overall best .22 semi automatics on the market today

Did the article mention if they have dealt with the problems that model was having? I was all ready to grab one until I read some place about the extrator scoring the chamber, something like that.

I had a Silver Lynx for about a year, I ordered it new without ever handling one. I sold it because I never could warm up to the looks of it. It functioned perfectly, but within about 50 rds the extractor did cut into the side of the chamber. It did not affect this particular rifle's function, but if you do some reseach at rimfire central you will find many mixed reviews. If you have your heart set on one, my advice would be to wait for the new R55 classic 22LR, supposedly the problem has been addressed in the new model.
