very tiny, meant for kids for sure, nice peeps for kids. The "BOSS" and I are expecting a new Gun Nut coming April, and next week we get to find out by ultrasound if its a boy or girl, then I will be going straight to the store and buying either a Black one or a Pink Hot Shot!!!!!!!!!!!!
No. I got one for my 5 year old son for Christmas this year. We've had it to the range once so far and love it. They come with a one inch thick spacer with integral butt plate and an additional one inch spacer so as the shooter grows the rifle can be adapted to suit their needs. It is a youth rifle though so even with both spacers in it's a bit short for me (about the same LOP as an SKS). I've removed both to make it short enough for my son. We haven't tried to many different types of ammo yet but despite the short LOP I was able to keep groups under half an inch @ 25M off the bench with the irons using CCI Subsonic. Being a youth rifle all the controls are scaled for small hands.
The only complaints I have with it are first it requires a surprising amount of force to open the action and #### it considering it is intended for kids. Secondly in order to make it short enough for my 5 year old I needed to remove the butt plate as mentioned which leaves the end of the stock open. All T/C needed to do was make the butt plate so it would separate from the first spacer and it could have been screwed to the end of the stock to cover the opening. All and all a great little rifle for my little one.*
