T/C New Englander Value?

I know of a used T/C New Englander in 50 cal for sale. Rifle appears to be in decent used condition with VG bluing, some small marks on wood. Bore had a little rust and pitting, but nothing compared to some I've seen Guy is asking $120.00 for it. Good deal or no, and if so, why or why not. I'm unsure of it's value, so I figured I'ld ask the experts.
 
I would think that is a good deal, depending on how pitted that barrel is. I have a rough barrel on my Lyman Deerstalker, and it is a brute to clean. What cal is it .50 or .54? I am looking for a .54 traditional style cap lock, and not having much luck. Wholesale Sports said they had one, but when I ordered it they found they only had it in .50. I have only known of 2 New Englanders, and they where good shooters, and nice handling rifles.
 
That's a good price, JB paste might clean up the bore.Is the pitting from leaving a load in it? If so it'll be ##### to load after a couple of shots.
