T/C R22 inquiry...

Hey Blake~quick answer, "no"..but I'm also interested in these rifles and have asked a few questions about them here too. Doesn't seem to be any following, but that could be said for most rimfires that have been made by this company. (interest here on CGN, that is) Reviews seem to be good, accuracy reports noteworthy, but that's based on Googled info. I've handled them a few times @ Bass Pro, and have yet to buy myself...but may try on in 2020. We'll see. Allot to like about it from what I see, including ergonomics...but the stock itself is maybe the most flimsy synthetic stock I've ever seen on a rifle. After handling one, I had to go back and watch a video review that showed it shooting exceptionally well! lol

Anyhow, stock aside...i've read that the factory mags suck...but since the nearly flawless 10-round rotary mags from Ruger are a perfect match (the T/C is a 10/22 clone) that's a non-issue for me personally. When $ allows, I plan on trying one...but I'd suggest you at least handle one before you commit to 2. Unless they're Christmas presents...?

Thanks - it sounds like we're in the same boat...

Just purchased one based on excellent reviews on the net.

Received it without the action screw so it's still unfired, but I can assess for the overall handling and built quality feeling.

Lightweight, well balanced and well molded and machined. The machined rail is nice, peepsight and fiber front sight are great. Some report misaligned front sight, mine is straight and it can be adjusted fairly easily if needed. It feels like it would fit young/small framed shooters, but it also handles super nice for me (5'10" guy).

Will update when I can finally get my hands on an action screw and try it out.

I just bought one and shot it this weekend, machining does seem nicer than a standard 10/22 ( I have owned them in the past) magazine and rifle worked flawlessly. Would recommend.
