** T/C Thompson Center ICON Warlord 1/2 MOA CERTIFIED 308 & 338 Lapua Magnum

3K seems somehow pricey for a ½MOA guarantee... Some of the better Savages and Remingtons can do that already and they don't have all this fancy "accurizing".

:D
It's getting harder to separate the real GUNS from the marketing GIMMICKS these days.

I just bought a Remington VTR.

Looks like I got gimmicked......got a "green" rifle with a weird triangular barrel & an "useless as t_ts on a hen" muzzle brake that looks like a tackdriver & shoots like an off the pre-owned rack lever action "thutty-thutty".

Live & Learn.

I have a regular T/C Icon, .308, synthetic w/weathershield, Leupold 4.5-14 50mm LR optics. Is there ANYONE out there who can convert, or knows how to convert this rifle to accept larger clips, as evidenced in the 'warlord'?? I would sure love to have more rounds at my disposal. Extremely accurate rifle. Fall snow goose hunting was very successful with multiple headshots at 240 yds+

The 3K price range allows you to look at some nice established factory rifles or, as others have said, some good custom work. I haven't gone the custom route ( unless you include PGW Coyote ) so can't really comment but 3K would allow for nice Savage or Remington including decent glass. The same price would also allow for Tikka which is very nice, It won't quite cover Sako TRG ( my personal favorite ) but you will be very close so, as you can see there are lots of options out there.

I have to bring that up, now that i shot my TC Icon WS 308 that the Warlord at 3k sound pretty affordable for what you are getting. My Icon test proof was .31 , actually with my proven TRG loads it shoot multiple groups of .25... I did put a deposit on a Warlord. Those TC rifles are to say at least very exciting... JP.

My dealer called today, my TC Warlord 308 will arrive in the next batch, now cant wait to do loads devellopement on this one, if a Icon can shot that good, the Warlord show greats promesses and my expectations are high very serious competition for mys TRG... JP.
